The countdown is on and there are only a few days left until Valentine’s Day. I am capping off my series of V-Day posts (Galentine’s Gifts, Gifts Under $100, and V-Day Accessories) with what I would be wearing if I were going out for this special occasion. Of course I will still be celebrating, but Sutton and I have never really done it big because our anniversary is just a few days later. This will be our 5 year anniversary and I seriously can’t believe it! I can’t wait to wear this CeCe by Cynthia Steffe dress for the occasion. It is the perfect frock for Valentine’s Day, a special date night or even a wedding. This dress still screams LOVE even though it is not the usual red or pink.
Here are some other great options for whatever your Valentine has in store for you.
Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and I am sure many of you have already started to plan your outfit. I am a sucker for anything cliché. I love dressing for holidays and one of my favorite things to do is take it to a literal level. Cheesy, I know! But, I just can’t help wearing red or pink, or even hearts on my clothing. Whether you are going on a fancy dinner date or having a romantic night in, I have curated a few accessories to take your V-day outfit from pink to perfect!
I have challenged myself this year to step out of my comfort zone in terms of style. Every now and then I buy trendy pieces and never wear them. This year I’m going to put all my failed purchases to use. These jogger pants are one of those fashion finds that ended up in the back of my closet and were never thought of again. Until now!
My goal is to spice up my otherwise mundane wardrobe by pairing classic staples with au courant pieces. By no means is this a brilliant idea, but for me this is out of the ordinary.
Saturdays are for running errands; shopping and doing whatever you couldn’t do during the week. With all of that commotion, dressing comfortably is key. For me, that usually means a great pair of jeans, a thin, non-fuss sweater and espadrilles or flats. I am constantly wearing all black in the winter but I’m trying to keep it light on this early Saturday morning.
We hadn’t seen any winter weather here in Texas until this past weekend, but I am already ready for spring. I’m busting out the floral prints a few months early in darker hues and more structured silhouettes than usual. Here are a few of my favorites from this budding trend.
