Casual Valentine’s Day

Casual Valentines Day

Dress: Charles Henry | Shoes: Sam Edelman | Handbag: Kate Spade | Earrings: Bony Levy (Similar Style Here) | Lipstick: Bobbi Brown

Well, January has totally flown by! I have been saying this forever now but I swear each month goes by faster and faster. But, the good thing is that one of my favorite holidays is coming up soon! Valentine’s Day is all about celebrating the ones you love. It doesn’t necessarily mean you need to have a significant other to enjoy the holiday. Whether you are celebrating SAD (Single’s Awareness Day) or are hopelessly in love, this holiday is for YOU!

Sutton and I don’t really go all out for Valentine’s Day because our anniversary is a few days later. So, we like to keep it casual and go to eat at one of our usual places or cook a nice meal at home. For the longest time, we would always forget about Valentine’s Day and somehow end up at Rosas Cafe! #2 for 2 please!

I love this multi-colored floral dress because it is perfect for a casual night in or out. Especially paired with these short block heels. They give just enough height and make you feel a little bit fancier. And, can we talk about this bag?! Seriously, how amazing are these colors together? I would carry this bag everyday if I could!

I will probably be wearing something very similar for our Valentine’s Day date. We haven’t planned anything yet, so if you have any ideas please shoot them my way! What are y’all doing for V-day?

Rain, rain go away.  Scratch that! The rain gives me a great excuse to pull out this adorable pink rain jacket. I bought this on a whim last week at J.Crew Factory because it reminded me of Martha’s Vineyard. I’ve never been there but I can imagine myself biking along the coast in this jacket with my eyelet baseball cap. If you follow me on Instagram you saw this jacket last week when I was trying it on in the dressing room. I just had to have it and the 50% off didn’t hurt.  Through April 5, you can take advantage of this offer and receive 50% off everything in the store with an extra 20% off clearance items using the code HOPTOIT.

Here are some of my favorite rain jackets for all of these April showers.
