The countdown is on and there are only a few days left until Valentine’s Day. I am capping off my series of V-Day posts (Galentine’s Gifts, Gifts Under $100, and V-Day Accessories) with what I would be wearing if I were going out for this special occasion. Of course I will still be celebrating, but Sutton and I have never really done it big because our anniversary is just a few days later. This will be our 5 year anniversary and I seriously can’t believe it! I can’t wait to wear this CeCe by Cynthia Steffe dress for the occasion. It is the perfect frock for Valentine’s Day, a special date night or even a wedding. This dress still screams LOVE even though it is not the usual red or pink.
Here are some other great options for whatever your Valentine has in store for you.
Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and I am sure many of you have already started to plan your outfit. I am a sucker for anything cliché. I love dressing for holidays and one of my favorite things to do is take it to a literal level. Cheesy, I know! But, I just can’t help wearing red or pink, or even hearts on my clothing. Whether you are going on a fancy dinner date or having a romantic night in, I have curated a few accessories to take your V-day outfit from pink to perfect!
I have challenged myself this year to step out of my comfort zone in terms of style. Every now and then I buy trendy pieces and never wear them. This year I’m going to put all my failed purchases to use. These jogger pants are one of those fashion finds that ended up in the back of my closet and were never thought of again. Until now!
My goal is to spice up my otherwise mundane wardrobe by pairing classic staples with au courant pieces. By no means is this a brilliant idea, but for me this is out of the ordinary.
This is what I would call my uniform. If I am ever pressed for time and need something to wear, I always resort back to my go-to look of black and white. I am seriously obsessed with this oversized white shirt from Ann Taylor. It has the polished look you get from a standard button-up but embodies the effortless cool of an oversized blouse. I paired it with black, leather paneled leggings for a monochromatic effect. My favorite Heather Henry bag adds the perfect pop of color.
